Who are we?

Shyning Minds Tutoring is a virtual tutoring company committed to the education of scholars, globally. Shyning Minds provides a space for further application of what is learned in the classroom and/or at home. We are committed to strengthening the education of ALL scholars from kindergarten through college!

Tia Shyne Muse, MSED, Founder

Tia Shyne Muse, founder of Shyning Minds Tutoring Co., is a certified educator who has taught in Baltimore City Public Schools and Atlanta Public Schools. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Howard University and her Master’s of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University. She discovered her passion for teaching working primarily in inner city, Title I schools. Ms. Tia has taught elementary, middle and high school mathematics during her tenure as a classroom teacher. She has also facilitated academic planning sessions for educators to take critical teaching practices back into their classrooms. Tia Shyne Muse launched her very first tutoring business during the 2020-2021 academic school year, after she noticed a need for remediation and further application in the new, virtual school setting. She is excited to be working with an amazing team of tutors under her company, Shyning Minds Tutoring Co., LLC.
